at the end of practice last night, we had the usual huddle and team cheer...and the girls always get to decide what to say. one of 'em piped up with, "merry christmas!" and the HR in me automatically freaked out, i thought about it, looked at the other coach and finally said, "ok...as long as everyone's ok with it..."
"1 - 2 - 3 merry christmas!"
i wish i didn't freak out about saying "merry christmas"
(happy hannakuh or chanukah, too!)

I am shocked. Shocked and appalled by your careless lack of political correctness. Why, I might even have to write a letter to the editor, I'm so utterly anguished.
